On Friday, November 18 from 3pm to 5pm, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) is hosting the Regional Student Forum’s HR Roundtable. The Student Forum, which meets several times each year, is designed to connect planning students with planning professionals and organizations in the Greater Philadelphia region.

For this meeting we are conducting an HR Roundtable which we believe will be beneficial to all students in all fields. The roundtable will consist of a panel of five Human Resource professionals to discuss the current job market and tips for entry level employees, as well as to share their expertise with a group of university students. The panel discussion and the questions will focus on such topics as networking, writing skills, self-promotion, resumes, job search, the hiring process, etc.

As Greater Philadelphia’s federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization, DVRPC is dedicated to uniting the region's elected officials, planning professionals and the public with a common vision of making a great region even greater. Shaping the way we live, work and play, DVRPC builds consensus on improving transportation, promoting smart growth, protecting the environment and enhancing the economy.  The Regional Student Forum provides students with the opportunity to discuss regional planning issues with planners, advocates and government officials, as well as with other students from the Greater Philadelphia area.

Our offices are located at 190 N. Independence Mall West (6^th & Race) on the 8^th floor of the American College of Physicians building in downtown Philadelphia.
